The history of the HIPPA brand began in January 2018, when designer and artisan Lea Vaskonen fell in love with the beautiful, light and durable material of cork fabric. The first products were designed for Lea's own children and family. HIPPA products are made with love and respect for nature and animal rights.
Today, HIPPA makes child slippers, backpacks and earrings from vegan and recyclable cork fabric. All products are designed and handmade in Joensuu, Finland.
