Vanikka is an old Finnish word from the colloquial language and means a bread from the time of scarcity - a very rye-rich and hard bread that only Finnish housewives knew how to make. A snack was the best time of the day back then and it still is today, a little leisure in the midst of everyday life! The name "Vanikka" reflects the original purpose of the dish as a bread plate and fits the ascetic language of the product.

Designed and manufactured in Kuhmoinen Finland. Treated with 100% natural poppy seed oil, which protects the wood from dirt and moisture. The natural-coloured leather strap is made of 1 high-quality, vegetable-tanned cow leather from Italy.

If necessary, treat by re-oiling. Wash by hand only.
